What you share

The questionnaire and checklist run in your browser. Current signup forms do not send or save your planning answers, chosen destination or checklist progress. Optional email signup collects your email, optional first name, consent wording and consent time. Earlier signups from the previous form also included planning preferences. Those existing records remain subject to the retention and deletion rules below. Signup is intended for adults 18 and older. Do not send passport numbers, financial account details or sensitive documents.

Advertising inquiries collect business name, contact email, website, destination, service category, requested placement and optional public headline and description. Contact, correction and privacy requests collect an email and message. Contact and advertising forms do not subscribe you to marketing.

AI questions and service providers

When you request AI research, we send your question to OpenAI to search and check official sources. Netlify hosts the website, functions and saved records. Those providers process information under their own terms and policies. AI requests are sent with storage disabled, but this does not promise zero provider retention. Hosting providers process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs for service operation and security. The application uses hashed IP based hourly counters to limit abuse. Hosting logs have separate provider retention settings. Processing could occur outside your country, including in the United States.

Cookies and browser storage

This version adds no analytics cookies, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. A session storage setting remembers when you dismiss the privacy announcement. It expires with the browser session. Questionnaire answers and checklist progress remain in page memory. Refreshing or leaving the page clears them. Download a checklist to retain your copy. The site does not use your questionnaire answers to target third party ads.

Why we use information

We use questions to provide requested research, inquiry details to consider advertising, and messages to respond to requests. Email signup uses your consent for Meridian Global tips and planning updates. Security counters protect the service. Where applicable, consent supports marketing and legitimate interests support service security and responding to inquiries. We do not sell the email list or give it to advertisers.

How long records stay

Research jobs expire after one hour. Questions are removed from the site job record when processing starts. Expired jobs and security counters are removed by a daily cleanup. Questions also appear in the generated answer when the model repeats them. Provider records are governed separately.

Signup records expire after 24 months. Contact and privacy messages expire after 12 months. Daily cleanup deletes expired records. Advertising inquiries stay until the owner completes review and removes them, or longer when needed for a resulting business relationship. The site keeps a hashed email suppression record after unsubscribe to avoid adding the address to future exports.

Your choices and requests

View, print and download your checklist without signing up. Email updates are offered on a separate page. Use the unsubscribe page to remove your email signup record. An unsubscribe in an email provider must also be honored there. Request access, correction or deletion through the contact form. We verify identity where needed before releasing records. Rights and response requirements vary by your location, and you have the option to contact your local data protection authority.

Public advertiser listings contain approved business details, not private inquiry emails. Linked external websites have their own privacy practices.

Changes

We update the date on this notice when our practices change. New tracking or marketing tools require a review of this notice and their consent settings before activation.
