Norway does not have a dedicated digital nomad visa. The closest official visa option is the skilled worker residence permit for self-employed people with a company abroad, but it requires a contract with a Norwegian business for an assignment in Norway, so remote work for foreign employers alone does not qualify. Other options include employer-sponsored skilled worker permits and the 90-day Schengen visitor stay, which does not allow work in the Norwegian labor market.
