Iceland has a long-term visa for remote workers who are employed by a foreign company or verifiably self-employed, with all work going to clients or employers outside Iceland. It lasts 90 to 180 days, you may not work for Icelandic employers, and you are not issued an Icelandic ID number. It is open only to non-EEA nationals who can enter Schengen visa-free, and you cannot have held one in the previous twelve months.
