Where the visa stands
Dominica’s WIN program permits qualifying overseas remote work for up to 18 months. Dominica and the Dominican Republic are different countries and have different rules.
Start with your work plans
WIN allows remote work for companies and individuals outside Dominica. The financial wording permits expected annual earnings of US$50,000 and/or sufficient support funds; salary is not the only possible evidence.
Describe who pays you, where your employer or clients are based and what you would do while living abroad. Use those details when checking the official route. Employer approval and immigration permission are separate questions.
Employer approval and immigration permission are separate questions.
Take the first application step
Review the government WIN eligibility page and follow its official application link.
The government’s processing page and FAQ give different time ranges. Confirm the current estimate; do not book around a guaranteed decision date.
Keep two money questions separate
The visa income test concerns the evidence required for an application. A living budget concerns your housing, healthcare, transport and daily spending. Compare both before committing to a move.
This briefing reorganizes the existing visa summary. It does not represent a new source review. The visa section of the guide keeps the original review dates and qualifications.
