• A coastal lease needs clear summer terms. Ask about renewals and whether you must move out in peak season.
• Check winter transport and services before selecting a smaller coastal town or island.
• The temporary nomad route has conditions around extensions and a later application. It is not an automatic permanent home.

Try the routine before the move

Try a coastal town in the season you would actually live there, not only in midsummer.

Use a Croatian class, sport or local interest group to build repeat contact. Ask long-term residents about the winter community. We do not yet have enough local evidence to rate racial inclusion nationally.
